The Diamond AMD Radeon R9 Nano Graphics Card takes 4K gaming to an all new level. The Nano brings to the table, a card that comes in a small form factor but leaves a giant impression. Here are some facts about the fastest and most power efficient Mini-ITX card.
The Radeon R9 Nano is up to 30% faster than the R9 290X with 4096 stream processors. It is 20°C cooler than the R9 290X and has a target operating temperature of 75°C, keeping your system running smooth and efficient.
The R9 Nano, however, uses 30% less power than the 290X which leads to a 16 dBa reduction in noise. It comes equipped with 3x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI port, a brushed aluminum finish on the card case, as well as a full metal shroud and a matte black PCB.
The Radeon R9 Nano’s premium industrial design features the “Fiji” Chip which boasts the HBM Technology. It has a dedicated heat pipe for voltage regulator cooling and a dual vapor chamber and heat-pipe thermal solution.
Compared to the R9 290X, the R9 Nano is up to 2X the performance per watt, 2X the performance density and uses the typical board power of 175 watts.
When it comes to forming factor, the Radeon R9 Nano is 40% shorter than the R9 290X with a 6″ inch printed circuit board.
